Breaking the Artist's Block: A Return to Intuition
I recently realized something important: I had been in a relationship for years with a Artist's Block . I kept designing, creating, making art pieces... but something was missing. I wasn't connected with my intuition. I was on autopilot.
Filling me with anxiety without knowing why, moving forward in a hurry, because that's how we were programmed: "If you don't move forward, you fall behind." And with that, comes insecurity…
When did my block start?
At first, I thought it started when I became a mom and had less time, but the truth is it started earlier. The day I stopped listening to myself. When I stopped being authentic.
Sometimes we hear:
- "That's not going to catch on."
- "He's completely crazy."
- "It's not commercial."
And without realizing it, we disconnect from our essence. The Artist's Block grew on me, affecting many areas of my life. Because art is part of who I am... And creativity, really, is part of everyone. It's not just for artists: It is key in everything, from solving problems to our daily lives.

Reconnect
Life is about realizing and making changes. That's when we begin to create beautiful things, when we return to ourselves, to our inner child.
Today I want to share with you that I'm no longer in that lockdown. On my journey inward and in my cultural and artistic travels, I rediscovered myself.
For me, there are essential things that help me connect with my most authentic creativity:
- Meditate.
- Read.
- Pause.
- Collaborate with other artists and artisans.
-
To dance.
- Having a creative space.
- To travel and be constantly connected with art.
Everyone has their own path to reconnect with their intuition. The important thing is listen to us, no matter how "crazy" it sounds.
I am excited to share this process with you and, perhaps, awaken in some of you that curiosity to return to your authenticity.
In the next episode of "Intuition Block" I'll tell them. my process and what is indispensable for me to stay connected.
Thank you for being here.
